Minimal PM combines the modern day Project Management Practices with ancient wisdom about life and leadership
Wisdom for winning wars
All leaders have to face competition, tough choices, contribute to the prosperity of economies, focus on the positive outcome, be accountable and deal with conflicting stakeholders’ needs appropriately.
Once a week, I share the wisdom of Sun Tzu and try to unlock the secrets of ageless wisdom from The Art of War.
An organizational project delivery framework can both be a stumbling block or it can also be a tool to empower the programs, projects and teams in the organization and it must be minimalist.
Being an advocate of minimalistic project management, once a week I share basic project management tips, knowledge and insights in Minimal PM.

It was in August 2013 that I first created minimal PM and Niti. Though Minimal PM could be delivered, Niti could never take off the way I had envisioned. In the meantime I started to reach out to the readers for feedback and expectations about Minimal PM. After careful consideration, I decided to merge both ‘Minimal PM and Niti’, as they both catered to similar needs and challenges and made it once a week for each of the topic.
Therefore from July 2014 Minimal PM will delivered once a week.
Wisdom hidden in the ancient texts enables us to face the most daunting challenges we face in our times.
Humans have had to face the difficult situations since the time we started to organize ourselves into communities, villages, cities, countries, civilizations that are led by few. All leaders have to face tough choices, competition, contribute to the prosperity of the land, economies, focus on the positive outcome and be accountable.
A methodology can either be source of immense joy or horrendous experience when projects are delivered based on it.
I have witnessed how a methodology implementation can be a liberating experience and how it can also turn an organization into an inefficient, bureaucratic nightmare of a project manager. An organizational project delivery framework can both be a stumbling block or it can also be a tool to empower the programs, projects and teams in the organization.
